Blackjack is a card game where players compete against the dealer to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. Here are some rules for playing blackjack:
Goal: Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over.
Cards: Each player and the dealer are dealt two cards. The dealer's first card is face up, and the second is face down. Face cards are worth 10, Aces are worth 1 or 11, and other cards are worth their face value.
Dealing: Cards are laid out diagonally so that both numbers on each card are visible.
Winning: If your first two cards add up to 21, you have blackjack and win. If your hand goes over 21, you "bust" and lose.
Taking turns: Players can choose to "hit" or "stand". To hit, a player asks the dealer for another card. To stand, a player holds their total and ends their turn.
Dealer's turn: The dealer must continue drawing cards until their total is 17 or more.
